Pakistani Actress Veena Malik who does not even need a introduction after became a household name in India via her all tantrums on the fourth season of reality TV show Big Boss is now all set to do a Bollywood item number. Bobby Sheikh is directing a film named ‘Phir Mulakat Ho Na Ho’ in which the 32 year old actress will be doing an item number.
This is going to be Sheikh’s first project as a film director and so his experience with Veena Maalik as she is also a new comer. Sheikh has been an assistant director in films like Rann and Rang De Basanti and more.
With songs by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, KK and Atif Aslam, the film also stars Rajpal Yadav, Kader Khan and Praveen Kumar, and will hit the screens in September this year.
Not exactly this item number will be Veena’s debut as she is all set to start her career with ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’ in which she will be seen in a double role. Its not to surprise to see Veena’s entry in Bollywood as she already earned a long fan base list in India during her show Big Boss.
It has been a tough competition for artists from Pakistan to come and able to make their considerable place in Bollywood and especially when ‘Sheila’ and ‘Munni’ are a super hit, So Veena has a lot of homework to do to prevail in the Bollywood industry as it gets tougher!
