PlayStation 4 – Coming in 2012

Finally the news is out for PlayStation 4 . All the fans of PlayStation will be excited to know that PlayStation 4 is set to enter the market by 2012. The manufacturing is scheduled to stage later this year, thereby releasing in 2012. PlayStation 4 will be featuring  built-in motion sensor replacing the current PlayStation 3.

The report by Digi Times  says that Sony is in the final stages of development with the PlayStation 4, and that it will enter manufacturing later this year, with an early order of 20 million units already being filed.

But there has been no such announcement made by  Sony , and we might see the implementation of motion sensor into the device by  Japanese hardware manufacturer. Sony has recently highlighted the current PlayStation 3 , which is halfway through its life cycle.

A Digi Times report today says Taiwanese component makers have indicated PlayStation 4 production will begin towards the end of 2011 with the goal of having the system ready to ship sometime in 2012. Not only that, but the system will feature “movement based control,” which is compared with the Xbox 360′s Kinect, when it goes on sale next year. Two PlayStation 3 manufacturers, Pegatron Technology and Foxconn, are said to be assuming their roles once again for the PS4. Upwards of 20 million PS4 units are planned to be shipped in 2012.

However, Sony has always been hesitant about selling two devices at the same time, so this can be the first reason for the delay of announcement of PlayStation 4.
